The young golfer will have numerous well-known cheerleaders when she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He basically told me to compete and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's rather occupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
However she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He stands as the best player globally," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, following the flow."
She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that involving Kai helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially with younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and just introduced her own fashion and living company.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
